Krasa Zapolyarya is the biggest beauty pageant in the Murmansk region. It was listed among top 5 beauty pageants in Russia. The finalists represent the city at Miss Russia contest. Some of the participants took part in world's beauty pageants, some became professional models (among them Kate Grigoryeve - first Russian VS angel).

In 2018 Natalya Karcha hosted the TV diaries about the project and the final show of the contest.
